Weather In Rajasthan are chilling, but considered to be the best time to visit due to its pleasant day time weather that are exposed for the travellers to check-out its beautiful attractions and indulge in various fun activities the state has to offer. Extending from December to March are the months that fall under winter season. While January remains the most coldest of all. The state shows substantial variation in its minimum and maximum temperatures from the day till the night time, that lies between 10°C to 27°C. While there are certain regions like Sikar, Churu, Pilani and Bikaner where the minimum temperature falls to minus 2ºC in the night. Such sharp fall in the night temperature is witnessed in all the sandy zones of the western Rajasthan. Whereas, the other parts of Rajasthan leaving the south-eastern part of Kota, Bundi and Baran and the western district of Barmer records the average temperatures of above 10ºC.

Winter
The season with most favorable conditions is winter. In fact it is the peak time for visiting Rajasthan. The glorious beauty of Rajasthan can only be experienced during this season. Winter in Rajasthan extends from December to March and January is the coldest month of the year. Temperature varies throughout the state and the lowest temperature recorded is 0 degree C especially in Churu (city).. During this period, relative humidity ranges from 50% to 60% in the morning and 25% to 35%during noon time. On the average basis, winter temperatures range from 8° to 28° C (46° to 82° F).

Summer
The summer begins in the month of March while the temperature keeps rising progressively through April, May and June. West of Rajasthan and the eastern side of Aravalli Range, in the region of Bikaner, Phalodi, Jaisalmer and Barmer, the maximum daily temperature hovers around 40C to 45C. Sometimes, it even reaches as high a 49C during the summer months.

Monsoon
The monsoon brings relief to the sultry and sun-baked terrain of Rajasthan during the month of June in the eastern region and mid- July in the western arid regions. The temperature drops from 40 to 35 degree. With the fall in temperature, humidity increases. The state receives maximum rainfall during this period. There is a second phase of monsoon that continues from July to September.
